HOW TO BOIL WATER IN THE EVENT OF A BOIL WATER ADVISORY:

Fill a clean pot or kettle with tap water. Place pot or kettle on the stove (or other heat source) and heat the water until bubbles rise vigorously and continuously to the surface. Bring to a full rolling boil. Once it reaches a rolling boil, continue to boil the water for at least one minute. Turn off the heat and let the water cool completely prior to use.
Pour the cooled, boiled water into a clean container with a tight-fitting lid and refrigerate it for later use.
