Update for US Rt. 119 S / Rt. 73 to the Taylor County Line
The Boil Water Advisory has been lifted system wide.
Operations are back to normal, but CWA is asking for business and residential customers to continue to CONSERVE water – keep use down for the rest of the week.
Multiple line repairs were made, and sources of large water losses were identified and stopped. Clinton is still investigating what specifically caused the large water loss.
Clinton Water Association continues working with the appropriate state and local agencies to evaluate the response to the water events that led to loss of service to customers.   That will take some time.
Clinton Water appreciates the support of many entities that helped over them past 2 weeks including staff that has put in incredibly long hours, our emergency water repair contractor Carline Hauling and Excavation, the Mon County Office of Emergency Management, Mon County Health Department, WV State Health Department,  Rural Water Association and so many others. And especially to our customers that were patient and offered words of encouragement to the workers in the field.
